Our Task
Technical conception & development 

As part of a POS marketing campaign for Telekom, we were asked by the agency DO IT! for the technical conception and development of an interactive AR “scavenger hunt”. The mobile web application offers passers-by the opportunity to take part in a competition in a playful and low-threshold way and to pick up their prize at the nearest Telekom shop.

During the journey of discovery, passers-by scan posters with QR codes printed on them, which can be found near Telekom shops. Behind each scanned poster is a 3D animation with a prize or consolation ticket. The respective ticket can be downloaded by the players and exchanged for a physical prize in the nearest shop.

In operation all year round and throughout Germany!

To make the campaign as sustainable as possible and at the same time varied, we developed 3 different variants of the detailed 3D animations. A neutral variant for every occasion, as well as two specials for the Christmas and Easter seasons. Only the posters have to be changed to adapt the application.

In addition, the posters can be found all over Germany at different locations to make the campaign accessible to everyone and to reach as many people as possible.
