Electric mobility as a challenge for the next decade: Under the motto “We make the future real,” Volkswagen worked intensively on the general introduction of the new e-Golf. To communicate the subject of electromobility, which required a comprehensive and appropriate explanation, VW planned a roadshow through major European cities in 2017.
In this context, FLUUR developed a multilingual Augmented Reality application, which could be used by visitors with their smartphones and tablets. Digital content could be virtually placed over the physical world – as info texts and through a gamification mechanism as an Augmented Reality quiz – thus creating an overall multimedia experience. In addition to the conception, design of the information architecture, and software development, our work also included the technical roll-out and accompanying on-site support.
